Polar Express

This year was our first year doing the Polar Express Train Ride in Williams, AZ. It was a lot of fun & my absolute favorite part was being able to be in a cute little snow covered town. I L.O.V.E. white Christmases & small towns (being a small town girl myself)! Hardy, Brody & Cade are all obsessed with anything related to transportation (cars,truck

s, trains, planes, boats, etc) so they of course had a ball. Brody was probably the best age to enjoy it but Hardy & Cade still had a lot of fun even though it was a bit torturous for them to have to stay out of the isles on the train. Kallie was a perfect little angel as usual just sitting back & enjoying the chaos. I'm excited to make this part of our Christmas tradition. Maybe not every year but at least every couple of years.

we all piled into Cass & Jess's suburban. (omi & pappa met us in Williams)... it was our last big family drive together. once baby #2 gets here we wont fit anymore!

also exhausted from a long day of fun, but instead of sleeping our little hArdy man was WIRED. crazy boy. he was cracking us up.

hArdy's 1st night sleep in a big boy bed w/ mamma. as you can imagine i was on the right side halfway hanging off the bed being kicked from the inside by my upcoming little boy & on the outside by my big 2 year old boy. no sleep for mamma... but dont you worry... hyrum was fast asleep snoozing away in the other queen bed. Boys!

{birthday bAsh}

it was my moms bday the next weekend so we had a little early celebration before we headed out for breakfast saturday morning. yep, you guessed it. chocolate cupcakes for a pre*breakfast treat. the boys had no complaints!

the little boys anxiously leading Omi into the surprise celebration...its a miracle our little brody boy didn't spoil it. as soon as he saw the balloons he ran to Omi's room to tell her. luckily she didn't understand what he was talking about :)

and we of course had to get a little crazy with some silly string. i'm sure the hotel people LOVED us after that.

we literally drove around for over an hour looking for the "perfect" sledding spot. cass was determined to get a good slope for the boys to sled down. it turned out good despite the rest of us being a bit grumpy driving up & down the mountain 8000 times. i have to admit i was the grumpiest about it. i was of course sick in the back of the suburban thinking just stop this car already! :) but cass found us an awesome spot & everyone had a blast. also, thanks to omi & pappa for coming prepared with fun sleds!

and the drive home look... this was about 20 minutes away from home & hArdy was as you can see, seriously ready to get out of the car!

thanks to my fam for such a fun trip and for taking such good care of me! everyone has been super good about making sure the sicky prego girl is taken extra good care of.
